Hello!! I have a big update to share

The factory ran out of the right acetone color for Panda Bear and so we discussed a replacement color. They finally sent me images of the clips pre-print on Tuesday. (The next phase is printing before they mold each clip and attach them with springs.)




Look at all these lovely cut acetone pieces branded with my logo~ :3

I was really happy until I realized the acetone in the bottom middle confused me - I didn't order any white base clips. Turns out, the acetone that we picked to replace the acetone color they did not have in stock was a really light green.



Which made me scared because light green does not go with white print for the panda bear!! The green really washes out the print colors in the clip.

So I asked my factory rep to pause the production and if it was possible I could have the acetate color replaced. She said it wasn't an issue and after some looking we settled on this green color >




This green is not as minty as I would have hoped but at least its not nearly white like the other acetate cuts. But I did feel really bad about all the wasted cut material and well, I had the idea of adding a new design to the roster.

Say hello to the Darkberry Bear :D

Darkberry Bear designs has been added to the surveys as pledge options, add-ons under "Dark Bear". The design was also added to the preorder shop if you would like to switch your pledge answers or add it as an additional purchase to your shipment.

Hopefully new updates will happen next month as production moves onto printing~!!

Sorry for the lack of updates the past couple of months! On top of factories taking a month off to celebrate Chinese New Year, it takes a few weeks for me to get samples worked on. 


The first batch of samples were wayyyy too light so I did have to adjust colors on the acetate. These problems only happen because this factory has a million color plates to choose from and I have to go off of looking at a computer screen instead of seeing colors in person 😂. 

I am thankful the printing turned out great and the sizes were almost perfect!

I'm really excited to get these cute new hair claws in!!

We just put in the order for production of the bulk order - this can take a while so I may not have much updates until my rep sends me progress update photos. I'll be sure to ask so I can share with you guys, it's always fun to see them being put together and molded~.

I appreciate everyone's patience. I know I've warned that these products do take the longest to produce but it means a lot to me that you supported my project!

Hey everyone~ I appreciate the wait on surveys! I had them finished and approved but had an event this past weekend.  They should be rolling out over the next 48 hours so please keep your eyes peeled.

Please note that if you do choose to do the "pay now" on the survey, I manually have to check answers and process payments. I'll do my best to keep an eye on surveys daily and process things as soon as I can, payment should be processed within 48 hours.

Surveys will remain open until around late May or June but the sooner you answer the better it is for me to keep count of how many items I need to order! You will be notified that surveys are closing as well as when addresses will be locked - this means you can go in and update as needed until then.

Samples for the four new stretchgoal designs (black cat, red panda, teddy and panda bear) were ordered last week however the factory does celebrate Lunar New Year and will be gone until March 1st. I wont even get artwork proofs to approve until then a 😭!! But I do hope they all have a wonderful break and enjoy the festivities.

I'll be updating once I get more information from the factory. I know this process can feel a bit slow as expected production for hair claws can take about 3 to 4 months including the sample phase and shipping.

Just in case we hit the 4500 stretchgoal before the campaign ends, I put up a poll on which bear design you would rather have unlocked in the surveys! :D 

Technically, we are about $100 away from unlocking the Teddy Bear design at the moment of this update. However, I'm unlocking it preemptively just because I think I can cover the difference if I need to! So the Teddy Bear hair accessory design will be available in your surveys as hair claws and hair clippies. 

I also updated the pledges to include a bundle of 9 clips or 9 claws. 

We are coming up to the final 48 hours, sometimes the last few hours gets a lot of attention so it may be possible to still unlock the next stretchgoal! If we do unlock one more stretchgoal, I'll put it up to a vote if you would rather have the panda bear or the polar bear.
